I have know miss F. since she was born.  When I got to spend some time with her over the weekend it struck me how she is changing from a rambunctious little daredevil to a mature and inspiring young lady.  F. has so much soul hidden under her happy and easy personality; I love that these images captured that.

These were taken in the hall of a big and messy warehouse building. I usually stay far away from clutter, but the light was too magical to walk away from.

White is the absence of color. It is an emptiness that is ironically full of ultimate purity. White makes me feel free as it personifies an uncluttered openness that can go on forever.  I love white. Maybe that’s why snow blanketing everything it touches takes my breath away.

I had a nice surprise this morning when I realized my  image was the Photo of the Day at the Maternal Lens blog! Check it out here!

Old barns, rows of trees, and a little girl is all I need to get my dose of happy.
